After many years of poor results, lack of direction and managerial ineptitude, BT chairman Vallance has finally stepped aside, apparently saying that he would have left sooner if a suitable replacement could be found. Judging by his track record in running BT, finding anyone who could have done a better job would not have been difficult.
Following the departure of Vallance, BT have located a suitably conservative replacement in the aptly named Christopher Bland.
Sadly, don't expect anything to change, anytime soon at BT.
